About Dr. Iyer

A pain physician who treats function, not just symptoms

Dr. Iyer's patient care philosophy centers on one question: what do you want your life to look like again? Every care plan is built backwards from that answer.

Dr. Nikhil Iyer is an interventional pain management physician committed to a holistic approach that delivers the best long-term restoration of function for his patients. He is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both anesthesiology and pain medicine and is an active member of the Texas Medical Association.

His approach is multidisciplinary by design: medication management, physical therapy, psychosocial counseling, image-guided injections, and minimally invasive surgical techniques — sequenced to optimize pain control and overall function, not just mask symptoms.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Iyer enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring greater Houston with his wife and dog. Having grown up in Michigan, he remains an ardent — and patient — fan of the Detroit Lions.
